Bridging the gap between Romanian communities and the health system in the UK.
We are an independent, apolitical forum of Romanian health professionals working across the UK to advance health equity and improve access to care.
Why we exist
Romanian nationals are one of the largest migrant communities in the UK, yet their health needs remain largely invisible in policy, research, and commissioning. Language barriers and cultural differences mean many Romanian people struggle to access the care they need, when they need it.
The Romanian Health Equity Forum brings together professionals with lived and professional experience of Romanian communities to understand the issues, share knowledge, and drive meaningful change. We are independent, apolitical, and rooted in the values of equity, inclusion, co-production, and trust.

How we work
The Forum is led by a Chair and Deputy Chair, supported by an active membership of Romanian health and social care professionals working across the UK. We operate through collaboration, partnership, and co-production, connecting members and engaging with commissioners, policymakers, and community organisations to create lasting impact.
